(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The company states that the original order was placed on Dec.26 and the they sent an email 20 days later on Jan. 15. The company had all of the information to process the order on the credit card. The company was given my name, card number, expiry date, and CCV number. The company states that they gave us 5 extra days to contact them in order to not have the order cancelled. In fact you will note that we did in fact contact them on Jan.20 .
Company states that the the order had a different name on the billing and shipping address. The only thing that was different was the first name. The last name and the addresses are all the same. Regardless, this is not a reason to cancel the order. Companies can write all the policies they want, policies are a guideline, they are a fluid document and policies are, and can be changed at any time. The original email they sent with the 2 day warning was not even opened by us because there was nothing identifying it as being from rightstuf or about our order in the small view before opening the email.
They say that customers have the option to call. I did call, and to this day have not received a call back as requested. According to the companies response to the BBB, I did meet the timeline set out by them with the extension they say the gave. Rightstuf, do not hide behind seriously flawed policies. When is it ever acceptable to have a 20 day delay in hearing from a company to verify info that they already have for the credit card, when this is about the time frame we where expecting to receive the order.
Do what is right and refund the special needs child their money. I used to love this company but they have sadly gone downhill over the last two years. They tell you exactly what you already know and will not provide additional details or answer questions. They were also very argumentative with me when I was asking questions.
They used to be top of their game in terms of appealing to collectors. Sadly, that mindset has disappeared due for the sake of efficiency. You can tell the items are not packaged with care.
They also take no responsibility for damaged products and force the customer to buy for the shipping label. Not to mention, they have an absurdly high standard for what is and is not damaged. If I'm the customer, that's up to me to decide and it is their responsibility to get items to me that are not badly damaged due to their poor packaging efforts. It takes them 5-10 days to simply ship an item then tack on the additional delays due to the pandemic, it gets very frustrating and they used to be faster than Amazon. Either way, I'm done with them and I don't like saying it. They have amazing deals and I genuinely like supporting the anime economy.
Well, the characters are fun to watch, despite the fact they haven't done much of anything yet (I'm only on the fourth episode.). Train seems to be stuck thinking on the things that Saya says to him though. But that doesn't change how I feel about the characters so far. Sven Vollfied is one of the most loveable goofballs that I have ever seen in anime.
Not only does he make me laugh and smile, but the fact that he lives by a strict code of chivalry makes me very happy, because honestly, we need more characters in anime like that. Train Heartnett (who is twenty-three… I thought he was nineteen… -_-) is a character that seems to be somewhat lost in his own thoughts, unsure of what is good or evil. (Seriously, in the first two episodes she chugs down bottles of milk like its nothing.) She is a crazy and energy-filled girl who is sweet and a bit aloof, but definitely loveable in my eyes. Rinslet is pretty much as crazy as Saya, and seems like the type of character that is only doing things for money.
Eve is somewhat emotionless, but she is interesting because of her curious attitude and I am anxious to see where her character goes. Customer service and return policies with this company are absolutely horrendous. Their reviews on Trustpilot are awful for the same reasons. This company is so money hungry it's disgusting. My boyfriend placed an order with Right Stuf for a friend for the holidays and recieved a deal when purchasing items.
The post office has a problem reading our address and sent the packages he ordered back to Right Stuf. We've gone to the post office about this problem so many times and they've not been able to do anything. Any other company we call and explain this issue to, they say that they will ship the product back or give the option of sending the product to another address instead. When calling Right Stuf to address this issue, they told my boyfriend that they can only issue a refund, but not a full refund. And they will not resend the items out to a new address.
They explained that they are going to deduct FOUR charges from his refund . So out of the $100 he spent, he has only gotten back around $22. So now his friend isn't getting any of his Christmas gifts. And all the customer service representative said was that he could repurchase these items during another sale.
No thank you, never purchasing from this company again. Yurie Hitotsubashi was just an average middle school student living in the city of Onomichi on Japan's inland sea in the easygoing times of the 1980s. She spent her days worrying about exams and trying to get Kenji, the clueless boy she likes, to notice her. Then during lunch one day she suddenly announces to her friend Mitsue that the night before she had become a goddess. Their classmate Matsuri quickly latches on to Yurie's newfound divinity as a way to promote her family's bankrupt Shinto shrine.
She hopes that replacing their hapless local god, Yashima-sama, with Yurie will make the shrine more popular . Now, with Matsuri as her manager, Yurie has to grant wishes, cure curses, meet aliens, and attend god conventions. All the while attending school and working-up the courage to confess to Kenji. For a complete list of episodes and the order they're included in the box set, see the More Info tab. I have reviewed the customer's account, and I see he contacted us on December 28th to see if we could attempt to reprocess his orders on Monday, December 31st.
The Representative he spoke with advised him that we cannot schedule reprocesses. The customer would have had to contact us on Monday, December 31st to request the orders be reprocessed. Our credit card decline email that is sent to all customers that have orders decline states that we MAY attempt to reprocess the transaction periodically, but is is not guaranteed. Because the customer did not contact us on December 31st to request his orders be reprocessed, they were then canceled by our system on January 2nd. This has been our credit card decline process since we moved to a new system several years ago. The customer has ordering history that goes back to 2013 in our current system, and this is the not the first time his orders have declined processing.
For this reason, we believe he should be aware of our policy and know that he has to contact us on the day he wants his orders reprocessed. In addition, having spoken to us on December 28th, he was made aware that he would have to contact us the day he wanted the orders reprocessed. At this point, the customer is welcome to replace his orders at the current prices on our site for the items as we are unable to go back and honor sale pricing from a month ago. We would request this case be closed if the customer does not wish to replace the orders. The characters are also subject to the same derivative problems.
The protagonist falls in love with Phryne, the girl he saved, almost instantly and makes it his job to protect her. That becomes the single motivating factor for all his actions in the series. While that is an anime cliché there is some realism to it because of the way Clain has been living. What could have been an interesting narrative jumping point is squandered for a cheap cliché.
Though it seems somewhat simple, it really was hard to explain because I feel that there is so much to it. Maybe its that as I write this post, I think of the characters and how much of an actual influence they have on the plot. Not saying the main character's of other shounen manga aren't important.
They are, its just not on the same level as that of Rurouni Kenshin's. I mean, it's basically a story about one man and his years as an ex-assassin, but with the other characters with stories to tell and battles and challenges like ones that you would find in a shounen manga. It also has a good balance between comedy and serious moments. I called the day i was notified to find out why the order was cancelled. We placed an order with Rightstuf a couple weeks ago, and today received an email stating the order had been cancelled. I called them today to find out why the order had been cancelled and was told that Rightstuf had sent us an email on Jan.15/20 that needed verification.
So, I replaced the order for my son again, but this time over the phone and they would not honour the sale prices on the original order. Seems very convenient to cancel an order on you to then jack the price. When I asked to speak with the supervisor, the customer service agent i was speaking to became annoyed and got snitty with me. convienently the supervisor was not available. In all the years i have been shopping online, never ever have I had to verify a purchase after I have left that website. When you place an order with a credit or debit card, your card will be authorized for the full amount of your order. This is an authorization, not a charge, payment, or fee; it simply validates the card.
It's temporary, and will be lifted some time later, as defined by the company or bank that issued the card to you. Credit cards are authorized upon checkout, but get actually charged only when the product actually ships, unless there's some freaky deposit problem. Please keep this in mind when placing orders with your debit card because shipments occasionally arrive at our facility earlier than expected.
When this happens, your order may ship to you before the official availability date of an item in our online store. Tsukimi and Kuranosuke receive the vast majority of development in this rather short series. Tsukimi is a rather tragic character; her awkwardness during social interactions holds her back from achieving what she came to Tokyo to do, become an illustrator. The first time that bubble is penetrated is when Kuranosuke forces his way into Tsukimi's life. Kuranosuke is both the complete opposite of the residents of Amamizukan and strikingly similar, he has drive and opportunity but chooses not to pursue the opportunity given to him by his political family.
He cross dresses to keep out of political life and in doing so crafts his own way in the world. These two characters are amazingly complex and the show explores their individual uncertainties and potential almost effortlessly. Their lives are weaved together by similar backgrounds but they are kept apart because of completely opposite personalities, which makes their relationship all the more complicated and interesting. I hope you like it as much as I do, but I really do think it's worth just keeping it sealed and playing the localized version. I know that the digital price of CS is a hard pill for some to swallow, but I'm getting my money's worth out of it. Some may want to wait for a serious price drop if going for digital.
As far as physical games go, I have pretty much all of them except for Super Nova and the PCE / Game Boy releases. Probably still going to buy the physical PSP release one of these days. Rokujou MiharuAs I said before, Miharu is apathetic and mischievous, wanting nothing to do with the Nabari world.
However, when Yoite comes to him, things change. The two start off as acquaintances, but Miharu, a boy who doesnt care about anything…begins to care for Yoite. He wants Yoite to be happy, never existing, but Miharu doesn't want to forget Yoite. Miharu says many times throughout the series that Yoite is just like himself, same in apathy and loneliness. Yoite has become someone that Miharu wants to protect, someone that he will do anything for, even if Miharu gets hurt.
By the end of the series, Miharu's apathy, caused by the death of his parents, dissapears. Miharu is an interesting character for a shounen anime. He's not like Naruto or any characters like him. Miharu is apathetic due to his parents' death as I said before, but he also believes that he doesnt deserve kindness, and that kindness towards him is unnecessary.
What Miharu learns is that there will always be people who will care about him, no matter what he does or says, and those people in his, life are true friends. Aizawa KouichiKouichi is a kind, soft-spoken, and rather wise 14 year old boy. (Or is he 14? Hmm….) However, he can be rather frightening to watch.
Because he can kill a man, without feeling contradiction and make another man think that he himself killed that man, not Kouichi. He can also be rather merciless as well… Kouichi harbors a secret that burdens him. He is immortal, due to the Shinrabanshou 200 years before Miharu. He wishes he could die, because he does not want to see those he holds dear die.
At the end of the series, Kouichi doesnt ask Miharu to use to Shinrabanshou to make him mortal. Because Kouichi learns that he has forever to make a difference, and he doesnt have to watch the would around him die. He feels indebted to the Aizawa clan for taking him in. He also learns that even though he is immortal, people care about what happens to him. All of us as humans do not have all of time to make a difference like Kouichi can, but what if we lived that way?
What if we lived like we had forever to not stand by and watch things change, but rather, used our forever that we possess, use our every day to do something, rather than watch the sun rise and the sun set? To live life doing something instead of nothing. Received an email almost two weeks later asking for identification. Literally everything you'd need to steal someone's identity. So I called their customer service and they told me it was part of their policy.
They asked me to cancel and reorder with paypal. Needless to say, I told them to cancel the order and I will not be doing any business with them. Either RS warehouse workers stay extremely late into the night gathering and packing orders , or RS just doesn't truly care about its customers. Their logic is seriously flawed if the rule is "cancel within 2 hours or you're SOL" and I call with an hour and a half of them being open the day following a late-night order but still get denied an order change.
